Inveztor @ Davos 2025!

Well that's a wrap! The World Economic Forum this year at Davos was filled with interesting topics & dynamic conversations that cover some of the most pressing economic issues we are facing today. Here are some of the key takeaways from the Inveztor team:

AI & The Future of Work: In the words of Larry Summers, Professor at Harvard University, “…this is a moment of stunning technological possibility”. AI is here to stay, and it will disrupt jobs. The key? Embracing technology strategically will create synergy between human and artificial intelligence. Companies that nail this will have a clear advantage.

Finance & Regulation: Banks are seeking a regulatory sweet spot that balances resilience with sustainable growth.

Collaboration is Key: As Ursula von der Leyen said, we have entered an era of harsh geostrategic competition. Major economies are vying for access to the newest technologies - the race is on. Having said that, collaboration between governments, businesses, and individuals is more critical than ever, and it’s something we are keenly focused on at Inveztor when designing solutions for Impact Finance.

Trust is a Scarce Commodity: One message that really resonated was from Daniel Shapero. He said that trust is at a premium, and it is a very scarce commodity these days. One of the best things you can build for your company is a set of people you can trust.
